Princess Grace Gala, a Commercial, and Ellen!

My two-week layoff, or what was supposed to be a layoff, turned out to be one of my most exciting weeks! I knew I would be presenting one of the statue awards at the Princess Grace Gala, but I had no idea I would end up shooting a commercial and dancing on Ellen too! I guess great things sometimes happen when you least expect it!

As a former Princess Grace Statue recipient, it was extremely moving for me, to present it to this year’s winner, tap legend Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards; I just love the PGF so much and am so proud to be a part of their family. It is an honor to be among the list of past, present, and future awardees.

It was an honor to walk the step and repeat with Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco!

Thanks for the fun times backstage @adamshankman @jonmchu and to @maisonvalentino for my beautiful gown! I am officially obsessed 🙂 @realmrvalentino @carlossouza1311 #formerstatueawardwinner #PGFfamily

Timing is everything and as for the commercial, it just so happened that they were shooting in California and I just happened to be there for the PGF gala and on layoff from NYCB. The director Thomas Hooper wanted a ballerina, the choreographer Mandy Moore said let’s see if we can get Tiler, and there I was in the right place at the right time 🙂 I guess it was meant to be!

Then…came the most exciting way to end the week or any week for that matter! I was asked to be the first ballerina to ever dance on the Ellen Degeneres show!!! I still can’t believe it actually happened. It was and still is definitely a pinch me moment!!!!!
